Transfort is looking for input from residents
Transfort is holding two meetings next week. The first is Wednesday night, from 6 – 8 pm on March 30th in the Greyrock Room, which is on the second floor of the Lory Student Center at CSU. There will be a presentation on where Transfort is headed (big picture), where it’s at now, and the hurdles involved in getting from where it is to where it should be. There will also be time for public input.
If you want to dig deeper into the issues facing Transfort and possible solutions, consider hitting one of the four three deep dive sessions on March 31st. (Click through on the registration link below to see a full list of available times. The last meeting was cancelled due to low registration numbers for that session.)
Both events require registration through SignUpGenius. Check out the Transfort Route Improvement Project page for more info.
Bike Share is coming to FoCo on April 1st
There’s a lot going on April 1st to celebrate the introduction of an expanded Fort Collins Bike Library — now called Fort Collins Bike Share.
Noon — Ribbon cutting ceremony with Fort Collins big wigs at the Downtown Transit Center followed by a short ride to tour the stations.
All Afternoon — Bike Ambassadors will be at all of the stations helping people to check out and return bikes and answering questions about the program.
5pm — Celebration in Old Town Square.
Find out more about the new bike share program on the City website. (Station maps haven’t come out yet, but they should be coming soon, from what I hear. If you’d like a station near your business, consider becoming a sponsor.)

A Zagster infographic from Carmel’s program. I believe there’s also a card swiping model, which is what we might be getting.
